users to explore UKM collection via the Web.

library collection is searchable through a telnet connection. UM's
Information Gateway (IG) uses a series of window menus to present you
with all the possibilities. The program offers several methods of
moving from menu and selecting options.There are no commands to
remember!

UTM's
Sultanah Zanariah Library collection is searchable through this
java-based Dynix WebPac. Books collection comprise of vast
collection on social sciences and humanities, science and technology,
annual reports, almanacs, statistics and government/semi-government
publication etc.

UUM's
Sultanah Bahiyah Library is searchable through either a telnet connection or through
their newly developed interface, LINTAS.

The
National Library has a union catalogue of the national bibliography.
This database is known as BINAR. MENTARI database enables readers to
access articles being indexed since 1984 from related Malaysian
periodicals. SURIA is a database of all Malaysian newspaper articles
indexed since 1987. Articles can be traced through on-line searching at
the National Library of Malaysia. Pancaran database contains index of
conferences and seminars papers presented in Malaysia.
