ONLINE PUBLIC ACCESS CATALOG

• Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia 

UKM library is currently using Virtua Gateway of VTLS. The gateway allows users to explore UKM collection via the Web.

• Universiti Malaya 

UM library collection is searchable through a telnet connection. UM's Information Gateway (IG) uses a series of window menus to present you with all the possibilities. The program offers several methods of moving from menu and selecting options.There are no commands to remember!  

The login ID prior to enter the IG is ... opax.

• Universiti Tun Abdul Razak

The UNITAR Virtual Library is currently using Virtua Gateway of VTLS. The gateway allows users to explore UNITAR collection via the Web.

• Multimedia University 

MMU Library is currently using Geoweb Gateway of Geac ADVANCE Library System. The gateway allows users to explore MMU collection via the Web.

• Universiti Tenaga Nasional

UNITEN Library is currently using Geoweb Gateway of Geac ADVANCE Library System. The gateway allows users to explore UNITEN collection via the Web 

• Universiti Putra Malaysia 

UPM Virtual Library is currently using Virtua Gateway of VTLS. The gateway allows users to explore UPM collection via the Web.

USM library collection is searchable through a telnet connection. USM's OPAC uses a series of window menus to present you with all the possibilities. The program offers several methods of moving from menu and selecting options.There are no commands to remember!

• Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

UTM's Sultanah Zanariah Library collection is searchable through this java-based Dynix WebPac. Books collection comprise of  vast collection on social sciences and humanities, science and technology, annual reports, almanacs, statistics and government/semi-government publication etc.

UUM's Sultanah Bahiyah Library is searchable through either a telnet connection or through their newly developed interface, LINTAS.

Note that the login ID for the telnet connection is library.

• Universiti Teknologi MARA 

  Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak, UiTM offers ILMU's WebOpac that allows their library catalogue to be retrieved through the web browser.

• Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak Campus
  Curtin Univ. of Technology Library is currently using Geoweb Gateway of Geac ADVANCE Library System. The gateway allows users to explore Curtin's collection via the Web 
  
  
• Pustaka Peringatan Kuala Lumpur 
  PPKL collection is searchable through this java-based Dynix WebPac.
  
  
• Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia (The National Library of Malaysia)

The National Library has a union catalogue of the national bibliography. This database is known as BINAR. MENTARI database enables readers to access articles being indexed since 1984 from related Malaysian periodicals. SURIA is a database of all Malaysian newspaper articles indexed since 1987. Articles can be traced through on-line searching at the National Library of Malaysia. Pancaran database contains index of conferences and seminars papers presented in Malaysia.
